Our Repair Process

Damage and Claim

After making your hail claim with your insurer, if you have been allocated to Hail-Kings, your insurers claim staff will be able to book your vehicle in for an assessment and give you the relevant information. If they are unable to book your car in for an assessment, don’t hesitate to contact us directly so that we can personally take care of your claim and relieve your stress. Assessment

Your vehicle will be assessed at a designated repair centre by one of our highly qualified technicians. We use our own personal electronic estimating system which ensures an efficient and accurate quote. Once your vehicle has been assessed we will be able to provide you with repair details including repair viability and method of repairs. You will be advised of your assessment outcome and booked for a repair date. If your vehicle is deemed to be a total loss, we will inform you at the assessment and make arrangements with your insurer for the total loss to be processed.

Repairs

One of our proficient technicians will begin repairs to your vehicle. The method and approach to the repairs depending on the damage may vary, however if PDR is all that is required, we will be able to have you back in your car within a few days. Vehicles requiring conventional repair or a combination of PDR and conventional repair will take up to two weeks. Vehicles requiring weld on panels (ie: new roof) can take up to three weeks. We use all genuine parts supplied by your vehicle manufacturer to ensure the best quality result and repair times can vary depending on how soon we can receive the new parts.

Collection

Once repairs are completed, we carry out a final quality assessment to ensure all repairs are completed to perfection and industry standards. Your vehicle will then be treated to a complementary wash and vacuum. We will make contact to advise you that your vehicle is ready for collection and arrange payment of your excess (if necessary).
