Customer Disclaimer

  • CUSTOMER DISCLAIMER

    • We will take digital images of your vehicle upon checking it in to reference hail damage, unrelated damage, system codes, fuel levels and kilometres.
    • Prior to dropping your vehicle off for repairs, we request that you remove E toll devices and personal belongings from your vehicle.
    • On the rare occasion, and upon more thorough inspection, the initial repair method may need to be altered. For example, the initial view of a bonnet repair, may need to be changed to a bonnet replacement. If this happens, you will be notified.
    • If your vehicle has a driver assistance system, it may need to be recalibrated by the manufacturer of your vehicle to maintain your warranty and to meet the requirements of your insurance policy. Hail-Kings will do all that it possibly can to solve this issue, however we have no control over booking delays. Concerns in this regard should be consulted with your manufacturer.
    • Our staff may need to start and drive your vehicle to allow repairs to take place. We may need to drive your vehicle to a third-party repairer (smash repair). We may also need to drive your vehicle to ensure that your safety systems have been recalibrated to the OEM specifications. This will not affect the quality of our repairs and is covered by our insurance.
    • In some instances, the battery of a vehicle may lose charge due to the car not being driven. We take extra precautions to prevent this, however we do not accept responsibility if this occurs.
